Corey Harrison faces mounting medical bills after motorcycle accident
Corey Harrison, known for his role on the reality show Pawn Stars, is currently grappling with approximately $130,000 in medical bills following a serious motorcycle accident in Tulum, Mexico, on January 23, 2026.
The accident left Harrison with 11 fractured ribs, a concussion, and facial injuries, necessitating nearly a month of hospitalization and three surgeries. As a result, he has expressed deep concern about his financial situation, stating, “What am I going to do, fly out to Vegas and sell stuff? I can’t move from my recliner.”
To help alleviate his financial burden, a GoFundMe campaign was launched with a target of raising $18,000. As of the latest update, the campaign has raised nearly $5,000, but Harrison has indicated that he has just $400 left in his bank account after covering medical expenses.
Harrison’s current financial struggles have also led him to pause his podcast and completely remove himself from Pawn Stars. He is in debt to his father and friends who loaned him money for medical costs, further complicating his situation.
In a poignant reflection of his predicament, Harrison remarked, “I’m just going to die out here. I don’t have the money to keep paying these people.” His father, Rick Harrison, commented, “Corey is a grown man and he will deal with his life as he sees fit,” indicating a supportive yet realistic approach to his son’s challenges.
Despite the overwhelming costs, Harrison noted a silver lining, stating, “Thank God I’m not in the United States, because it would have probably cost me about $300,000.” This highlights the stark difference in medical expenses between countries.
As the GoFundMe campaign continues, the community’s response remains crucial for Harrison’s recovery and financial stability. Details remain unconfirmed regarding any additional support or resources that may become available to him in the coming weeks.
