Five Guys BOGO Promotion Announced
Five Guys is offering a buy-one-get-one free (BOGO) burger promotion from March 9 to March 12, 2026, following the overwhelming demand and chaos experienced during a similar promotion earlier this year.
The initial BOGO offer, which celebrated Five Guys’ 40th birthday on February 17, 2026, led to significant customer turnout, resulting in some locations running out of stock and long wait times. “We screwed the first one up so bad, we’re trying to redo it,” said Jerry Murrell, co-founder of Five Guys.
In response to the overwhelming demand, Five Guys plans to distribute approximately $1.5 million in bonuses to store employees. “Our employees took the brunt of the thing,” Murrell added, acknowledging the challenges faced during the previous promotion.
Customers can redeem the BOGO offer by ordering online at FiveGuys.com or through the Five Guys app using the code FGAFTERPARTY. However, the offer is limited to one redemption per reward code, per transaction, and per account, and it is not valid for in-store orders.
Founded in 1986 by Jerry and Janie Murrell, Five Guys has grown to nearly 2,000 locations in over 25 countries. The company has built a reputation for its fresh, customizable burgers and fries.
As the new promotion approaches, customers are eager to see how Five Guys will manage the expected demand. “We were genuinely humbled by your response,” Murrell expressed, indicating the company’s appreciation for customer loyalty.
Details remain unconfirmed regarding how the company will ensure a smoother experience this time around, but observers are hopeful that lessons learned from the previous promotion will lead to a more organized event.
